The Kratzmann Team has been trading at 1768 Sandgate Road, Virginia, Brisbane since 1977, starting out by selling quality used vehicles and then branching out into caravans.

Gary Kratzmann's mechanical background and design expertise has been put to good use producing design innovations that have set new standards in the industry.

Gary Kratzmann has his own designs, which he has shared with many manufacturers. He also gets involved with product used in the construction of all brands he sells and only sells brands which meet his criteria of quality or brands whose manufacturers are prepared to upgrade their product to meet his criteria.

Gary's designs are gleaned from years of experience - knowing what caravanners themselves are looking for - what makes the van or camper trailer right for their lifestyle. We all need something different - Gary listens and then passes it on to the manufacturers, so they are kept up-to-date with the public's requirements.
They in turn implement these changes - and the customer is the winner!

Being a sit in the office type is not always Gary's cup of tea - he has been known to do road testing of products he sells, including the 7000 kilometre Outback Trek through central Australia. The Windsor Escape proved its worth ten times over and was fully equipped for self-sufficient camping including hot and cold shower, toilet, solar powered lighting, 12 volt fridge and gas stove. What more could you need? He could have taken a 12 volt television but there were too many happy hours at the end of the day to watch TV, when reception was available. Some of the places there was no television reception because of the remoteness of places they travelled.

This excursion, Gary reckons, was singly one of the most significant learning events of his life in the caravan industry. Nothing counts like hands-on experience! His son Clint now continues on an annual basis to go camping with various products sold by the family company, taking data to pass on to manufacturers - all the time trying to improve.
